Armor
Talk about heavy metal--if you're a Jane's junkie, this particular periodical will feed your jones. The publishers are eager to spread the news about the latest in military equipment and the many ways one might use that equipment. And, being the U.S. Army's Armor Branch, the publishers know whereof they speak. The editorial style is too tasteful to say it outright, but the subtext is always rolling thunder and ker-pow. And no matter how much you delve into the minutia of relative alloys and their gages, the latest in electronic navigational toys, and where and how all this armor might be used, isn't the bottom line having more power? Subscribers also have opportunities to order well-executed and imaginative prints of work by Armor magazine artists. --Edith Sorenson |
